Assignment past due date
I was working on one of my first assignments set for uni earlier and checked the submition page, but it said I could no longer hand in my work although there was a 48 hour extention on it.
I'm not sure what to do now or who to talk to as i've been struggling trying to settle into uni and have only now started to finish off my course work only for me to not even meet the late submission for one of them.

Talk to your department/school admin staff. It’s possible that this is an admin error - you’ve been given an extension but the submission point had not been updated to reflect that. If possible go and speak to someone in person, or talk in the phone. Email might not be dealt with promptly.
If the admin staff can’t help, they should know who you need to talk to.

Hi,
I suggest taking screenshots of your confirmed 48 hour extension and the popup message that you are no longer able to submit. This way, you have proof that you tried to submit on time within your extension window. If you have an academic advisor or class tutor, I would recommend emailing them first and they will be able to direct you to the right people to speak to regarding this. Alternatively, visit your university's student hub or query desk and they will be able to help you in person. It may be a delayed extension error or admin haven't yet updated the due date but this will hopefully be sorted for you.

In my experience there is often a separate submission box for extensions - this may be the case? Alternatively, this may be a tech error, I would recommend speaking to your academic tutor or module lead for more specific advice.

Although I can see that the thread is 2 days old and it's likely my advice won't be relevant anymore, I would address it also to all other people who might encounter such issue in future
When you encounter such issues, it's very important to go and email your academic straight away, especially if you believe that there must be an extension for that piece of work. Sending email is very important, as you will always be able to reference it to show that you were proactive about the issue and were trying to find solutions. Also, if there really is an extension, it would serve as a proof that your work was indeed completed before the deadline, and your absence of submission is due to technical issues and not your fault.
