kings alternative offer?

Hi, i received this message today and I am confused about what it means, has anyone got this before -

Thank you for your application to King's College London. We are no longer considering your application for the programme to which you originally applied and we are now considering your application for an alternative programme here at King's College London. Once an initial decision is made, this statement will be updated. If you have any queries, do not hesitate to contact the Admissions Team through a King's Apply message.

I saw old threads saying they got offers after this, but I'm not sure if they replied to this and got a response with an offer from it..

for me it turns it out because I applied to msci and wanted to change it to a bsc course. So it was just confirmation that they considering me for the bsc course than the msci course. They could have made a bot clear as the message's title was the bsc course.

I applied to the same course four times cause I’m a reapplicant, I did msci, bsc, msi year in industry and bsc year in industry, they only sent me the alternative offer for both the year in industry ones, do u think they’re considering me for the other ones?

It means you aren't being considered for a place in the programme you chose originally but they're now considering you for a similar programme. So you might get an offer for another subject instead of the one you applied for.
