Newcastle partners offer

I’m currently on a gap year resitting 2 of my A levels. I achieved BCE I was wondering if I was eligible for the partners offer as I’m predicted 2 A*’s and my B matches the requirement which is BBC. I am eligible for the offer as my school fits the criteria but just wanted to know if it mattered that my grades first time round were lower than the offer?

You definitley should be. They should only factor in your current predicted grades if I'm correct. If you want to double check simply email them at [email protected].

Hi Anonymous,

For both your UCAS application and your PARTNERS application we would look at your predicted grades. We only have specific resit policies for Medicine and Surgery and Dental Surgery.

To take part in PARTNERS you need to meet all of the Essential Conditions and one (or more) of the Eligibility Criteria.

One of the Essential Conditions is that your predicted grades must be no more than one grade lower than the PARTNERS offer. For example: If the PARTNERS offer for Biomedical Sciences (B940) is BBB, your predicted grades must be at least BBC.

You can find guidance on how to apply for PARTNERS here.

The UCAS equal consideration deadline and the PARTNERS application deadline are at 6pm today.
