Help with calculating my BTEC grades

Hello, I hope you're doing well.

I'm doing level 3 national extended Diploma in business. I just got my results for my first semester.

Exploring Business (15) - distinction
International Business (10) - pass
Business Finance (15) - Merit
Research and plan a marketing campaign (15) - distinction

I need to know what is my grade for this semester. I tried with AI it says PPP, but I don't know why because I got 2 distinction and merit in 3 course that is valued 15 credits each. Also I need to know what will be my GPA on scale of 4. I don't what is the points for each grade, I saw it mentioned as 7, 8, 9 respectively in Pearson website, but again I'm confused between qcf and rqf. It would be helpful if someone help me understand my grades and what I need to increase my overall grades in future

Well, BTEC grades are awarded per unit and for the overall qualification (all 13 units in the case of a Pearson BTEC National Extended Diploma in Business). There is no such thing as a "grade for this semester". In some cases, one can establish a grade for the first year of an Extended Diploma, but that only works if the units you've done happen to coincide with the units you would have done for the Foundation Diploma in Business.

The best you can do is establish how many points you've earned for the four units you've done, and then extrapolate that based upon the GLH (guided learning hours) for those units and the whole course.

Unit 1 Exploring Business is a 90 GLH internal (coursework-based) unit. As such, a Distinction earns you 24 points.
Unit 5 International Business is a 90 GLH internal (coursework-based) unit. As such, a Pass earns you 9 points.
Unit 3 Personal and Business Finance (which is what I assume you mean by "Business Finance") is a 120 GLH external (exam-based) unit. As such, a Merit earns you between 20 and 31 points. The exact number depends on your marks in the exam, as it works on a sliding scale - the closer you are to the next grade boundary, the more points you get. I'm going to assume 25 points - i.e. about the middle of the Merit band.
Unit 2 Developing a Marketing Campaign (which is what I assume you mean by "Research and plan a marketing campaign") is a 90 GLH external (exam-based) unit. As such, a Distinction earns you 24 points.

So that's 24+9+25+24=82 points from 390 GLH. The whole course is 1080 GLH, so those points would extrapolate to 82 / (390 / 1080) = 227 points. If you actually achieved 227 points you'd get a grade of DDD. So that's a reasonable approximation of your grade so far.

Note that you can calculate all the above yourself by reading section 9, Understanding the qualification grade, in the specification, here.

I've no idea how to convert this to a GPA, I'm afraid.

Oh, and QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework) was replaced by RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework) back in 2015 - so your qualification is RQF, also referred to as "first teaching from September 2016".
