UoLiverpool/Newcastle/WaterBear for studying music production and performance

Hey so I’m looking at studying music production and performance at uni and I just wanted to know people’s opinions on which out of UoLiverpool, UoNewcastle or WaterBear would be best to study music production and performance

I’m into rock/alternate/metal music so wasn’t really sure as well which one would have the best scene for it

I’ve sent out my UCAS already so can’t really change my decision and Liverpool was a no brainier but even though I loved the open day and the university I’m starting to second guess myself

Would love to hear some opinions of people at all 3 different unis

I know a young person who is currently studying Music Performance at Waterbear. (he was on a gap year so we helped him with his applications). I was a little unsure as the uni is very new but I took feedback from people at Brighton campus and I have to say I am very impressed with what he tells me about the course and also the professional opportunities he is getting (many are paid as well).

Now, of course this isn't Production but so far it seems very good. Their students are prepared for a portfolio career.

My son's friend graduated from Uni of Liverpool. Not sure which music course exactly but he has gone onto a Masters at a prestigious London performance college and is doing well there.

I don;t know anyone from Newcastle.
