I am self-studying RS for GCSE, how many hours should I study for per week?

I am a christian, so I figured RS would be easier for me

What religions/components are you doing? Or any themes? Plus, are you doing Catholic Christianity?

I can't help with Catholic Christianity but for other I can maybe try 😊
When are you taking the exam?

Okay I don't do Islam but I have some revision guides for Christianity and some themes which may help you

You generally don't need to spend too much time on it
What I do is just plan a 12 marker for all the topics in e.g. Christianity, and so I'll have enough points to make whether I get a 12 marker, 5 marker, or 4 marker on that question. All it comes down to is essay structure and having enough evidence (but the good thing about RE is you can sort of give evidence on your own, as in a Bible verse or a Psalm or even a Parable or story, so it's not too rigid and you can adapt it to what you want).

Plus, most of the points are versatile and overlapping and so could be used for many topics, for example and essay on contraception would probably have similar points and evidence to one about abortion, and so you'd be hitting two birds with one stone refusing the points!

I should've asked this before but you're doing AQA right?
