Hiii, I applied for pharmacy with BTEC science (D*D*D) at Reading and they asked me to list my BTEC units, does anyone know which units they require for this course x

I hope you're doing well, and thank you so much for your question about the MPharm programme.

I'm afraid I'm not completely sure about which specific BTEC units are required for this course. I would suggest potentially listening all of the units that you did to make sure all are covered.

I would also recommend contacting the University of Reading to ask about this. You can either do this via the Ask A Question form, or by emailing [email protected]. Hopefully they will be able to give you a more specific answer to this question.

hello, I had the same question and emailed them and they replied with this:

Applicants for Pharmacy who are studying the BTEC Level 3 Applied Science qualification need to have studied the following 4 units; if these four units are not being studied, applicants will need to apply for MPharm Pharmacy with Preparatory Year as they won't be considered for main programme.
13 - Applications of Inorganic Chemistry
14 - Applications of Organic Chemistry
18 - Industrial Chemical Reactions
19 - Practical Chemical Analysis

In my course I’ve only studied unit 14 and non of the others and I still haven’t heard back anything for them so I don’t know what their decisions will be.
