A Level Resit payment

Hello all, so I'm retaking an A Level Maths Edexcel to get a better grade hopefully and to do it at my school (they allow me to) it costs £178.31 which is apparently cheaper than most others so I'm grateful for that. I've called them multiple times and have sent them multiple emails, and they haven't said to me how I will pay for it, like do I give them cash, transfer or something else. I tried to contact the finance department but haven't received a response from them aswell. So I'm messaging here to see if anyone can answer my 2 questions:

1) When is the deadline to submit payment for entry into this year's A Levels?
2) Those who have retaken or those who know about it, what method did you use to pay?

The fee which Edexcel will charge your school for A level Mathematics is £155.05 (see page 8 of Pearson Edexcel Qualifications: fees for UK centres for confirmation). In order to secure that fee, you need to have been entered for the exam by 21 February 2025 (see page 4 of the same document), after which the fee doubles. Edexcel will invoice your school, based upon the entrants that school has, and the school must pay that invoice within 30 days. It seems reasonable to assume that Edexcel won't sent that invoice until after 21 February. So from an exam-board perspective, you they likely won't get paid for a couple of months.

Your school, obviously, may have an earlier payment deadline - but you'll only be able to establish that if that actually reply to your e-mails. I don't know how your school will want to be paid, except to say that it won't be cash. I'd expect a bank transfer would be more likely.
