Professor John Carlton of SST MAOM dept City University of London is biased and old
This is a good school but some departments need serious review especially maritime Operations and Management. It's very unacceptable globally for one of the Professors named John Carlton to be the program director, as the same time Lecturer and at the same time dissertation external examiner...He is occupying a dangerous position to fail foreign students, resist positive feedback and frustrate other visiting Lecturers who he doesn't want to make permanent staff because of the obvious school department politics. If the school doesn't change this, it will get to a time that nobody will apply to City University of London in future or City St George's rather to study anything related to maritime related course. It's the school that will lose...
