Edinburgh or Durham for Engineering?

I've received offers from Durham and Edinburgh both for Engineering MEng. Both are A*AA. The courses seem very similar. Both start off general until specialising later on. Both have everything I want in terms of course content.

I've wanted to live in Edinburgh for so long but I know the student satisfaction is really low because of lack of support and stuff. I also know Durham's is much better but both have their pros and cons in terms of how I want to live.

Edinburgh has a really good and well developed formula student team which I'm very interested in. Durham has their electric Motorsport team which also performs well. Durham also has a formula 1 society which I think is really cool for meeting people and watching the races together since I won't be able to watch with my family anymore.

Edinburgh is so expensive to live in although Durham accom also seems rather pricey. I also don't know where to find information to rank my preference for the Durham colleges.

I think both are good unis and I will be able to work hard and get a degree at either but that makes it harder to decide.
At the moment I want to work in aerodynamics for formula 1 and I'm not sure if I'd be more likely to achieve that at one of these unis.

My insurance choice will be Bristol since that's the only one with lower grades but I need to choose which one to firm.

Do you guys have any advice?

Edinburgh all day long. Durham is a Lancaster with prettier buildings. Edinburgh is closing on UCL.
