gcse maths

hi all i need a 6 in maths to study a level bio but i do foundation? do u think if i got 9-9 in science then a 5 in maths i have a chance?

Probably not - it uses a lot of maths and sixth forms tend to be strict on the requirements.

Focus on smashing your GCSES :smile:

You need to talk you the college you are applying to ASAP if they will allow it. But most likely they will not. Talk to your teacher to change the tier, at this time it is usually still possible.

If you get 9-9 in any subject, getting a B in any other subject should be more than easy. Just study maths more and sciences less.

I think if you think you can get a 5 in foundation you should probably be doing higher - it's easier to get a 5 on higher than foundation imo

Ooops, missed that.

@eygfujehfi3wjdfw can you ask your teacher what you can do to get moved up to higher maths? You'll need to be quick as schools will be making their entries for exams now.
