Newcastle is a top 5 student city! We share the city centre with Northumbria University so, there are lots of students here from all over the world. This means there are lots of opportunities to get involved with activities which suit your preferences.

Societies are a great way to do this, you can meet people with things in common such as nationality, hobbies, or degree choice. We have over 160 societies at Newcastle University and you can find a full list at our Student's Union page (Newcastle University Students' Union).
