Alevel & BTEC

So I am currently taking Alevel maths, A level Further maths with BTEC ICT & APPLIED SCIENCE ( 4 in total ) in year 12. I am passionate about studying engineering in uni?

But the problem is that I cannot take Alevel physics in my current sixth form? Given the fact that it required to study any engineering course. Is it better to write a private Alevel physics exam to get the qualification or further math is enough?

If it's engineering in general, you really really should do physics even as a private candidate and you need to fork out £1000 for the practical assessment.
If it's specific to bioengineering or chemical engineering, then you would need biology or chemistry (you should do practical assessments for both).

From what I can tell, BTEC in either ICT or Applied Science would not be enough to get into an engineering degree course or a good substitute for A Level Physics. By all means, you can ask the undegrad admissions of the engineering departments of all the unis that you want to apply to; they should say something similar to the above.
The only BTEC you could possibly consider is a BTEC in engineering, but that's usually for less academic universities and the colleges that tend to teach BTEC in engineering from the top of my head are those in the North of the country (unless someone corrects me).
