Extra Subject

I would like to know that my GCSE exam will be in 2027 and I have to choose my subjects now in year 9. I was told that if I take triple science I can only choose 1 subject of my choice plus the compulsory subjects. If I want to take 2 subjects of my choice how could I do that and how much will the extra subject cost. Thank you

Why do you want to do this? I'm sure you will be doing enough GCSE through school.

If you are determined to try it and Depending on the subject....... You might be able to study it in your own time using internet and text book resources or buying a distance learning support service. You might engage a private tutor to help you. Any subject with coursework should probably be avoided (it's very hard to get it marked) or you could consider taking an IGCSE version that usually doesn't have coursework. You'll need to pay to enter for the exams as a private candidate which might be possible at your school or you might have to find somewhere else. The exam fee for a private candidate would be approx £50 (varies by subject and examiner) BUT if you have to do it outside school you could be charge around £300 per subject.
