I heard that unis do not appreciate taking law a levels to study law in uni ... Is this true?

No..? But law a level is sort of useless tbh, usually an essay based subject such as econ or geography, math, further math, and physics or english is best

A level law is superficial. It teaches you nothing that you would not learn in the early stages of a degree in law or a Postgraduate Diploma in Law.

No - this is a complete nonsense.
I have no idea where this rubbish started, but I can assure you that it is not true - A level Law is as solid, and well respected essay-based A level.

At worst it'll be valued as highly as any other essay-based subject, which is what they want to see. You don't need law A-Level but if you want to do it at uni you'll probably find it the nicest essay subject anyway.
