Can you still use your 15 free hours and use the childcare grant element? But if I use childcare grant element does that mean I would not be entitled for parental allowance from NHS (as it is NHS course) I never applied for childcare grant but just received a letter with the details (never received an email to set it up) so just trying to understand why I was offered it and it I won't loose other benefits if I do set it up

Hi there,
You do need to use the Childcare Grant if you do not want it. You would need to speak to who ever is giving you the Childcare Grant to see if having it approved with us would affect you. The Parents Learning Allowance is through us and not the NHS.
