I didn't get all Grade 9s, but was very close (Seven grade 9s, Three grade 8s - joint best grades of my cohort).

If you're getting 7s and 8s then you've got the knowledge and it's more exam technique I would say.
For maths, just practice loads.
For the essay subjects, again, it's practice. You need to make sure you know how to structure your writing so that it's clear you know what you're talking about and you're reaching the upper ends of the mark bands.

For the sciences, make sure you know your content.

Use all of the resources that your school has and attend all of the revision sessions - they really do make the difference.

Focus on picking up the new material, but do a little bit of what you've already covered just to keep things ticking over. No point revising what you've not learnt
