Art GCSE 2025 edexcel

Someone please help me, I don't know what to do with it. The theme is 'Gathering'.
I'm cooked in my GCSE grades.
So I moved countries and my teacher told me to do something with suitcases, like tons of suitcases or a pile of clothes and take pics and blah blah
I have no idea what I should do now!!!😭

Hi @Spongebobssq

I know the feeling of trying to choose the right topic. Your teacher's suggestions do sound interesting and they could be a good starting point for you. I think you need to have an interest in the area you start looking into to help you make the most of your project. Have a think about what styles of art you enjoy, what mediums and techniques you enjoy using and what artists you like. This could help spark some ideas.

I replied to a similar thread not too long ago with some ideas about 'Gatherings' as a theme, and loads of other people replied with their suggestions too. Here's the link to the thread if you want some more inspiration: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7557363

You would also suggest looking at some other artists' work to try and get inspired. The initial starting point is probably the hardest but once you get a solid idea it will be easier to start creating your body of work.

Hope this helps. 🙂
