Feeling super stressed now as I heard they like to give two weeks notice for interviews, and with knowing interviews are Feb and March I’m thinking surely they would have started sending some out already?!
I’ve only applied to Bristol as I can’t relocate, so this is stressing me out!! Anyone heard anything??

For all Unis, it isnt always the subject of the Access course - its often the specific units taken within that course.
For Bristol :
Access to HE Diploma in Science, Biomedical/Medical/Health Science or Psychology (or similar titles). The 45 graded Level 3 credits must include: 15 credits at Distinction and 30 at Merit or above; and at least 12 credits (with 9 at Distinction) from Biology units.
Email Admissions - [email protected] or if you want an answer before the UCAS deadline, phone 0117 394 1649.

you know how they said (with 9 at distinction) for biology what if you currently got 6 distinction and the rest is at merit should I change my choice to a different uni. I don't know how strict they are about that part which im worried about. I still got 1 day to choose to substitute it to something else.

I imagine with how competitive it is they would just reject any application that didn’t meet the requirements online. So maybe worth changing to elsewhere if you can

Definitely switch! They’ll automatically reject you, with how competitive the course is, there is little to no leeway with entrance requirements

Yes I know that, I’ve done a access to medicine and I’ve completed their SQ

Did you get asked to upload proof of qualifications after completing the saq too?

I was asked back in December a few days after my saq and haven’t heard anything yet, when did you do the saq ?

Reply 34

I’m going to guess and say that those who weren’t asked to upload proof of qualifications, like myself, they were able to find out qualifications through our Unique Learner Numbers (ULN) therefore didn’t need confirmation. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I think they sent all the saq out at the same time because I completed mine in December as well, but I didn’t need to upload proof

Ah that’s a good explanation

Reply 37
