I loved the course. We had lectures and seminars, which started as hour-long lectures in the first year and then moved to two-hour long lectures in the second year. The first year was all about giving us a broad overview of psychology and introducing us to research methods and report-writing.

Second and third year really allows you to tailor your choices with the modules! If you haven't already, definitely check out the available modules. I did the placement module in my second year to prepare me for my placement year, and in the third I did: forensic psychology, the psychology of mental health, psychology of gender and social perception and behaviour. I really enjoyed all of them, especially forensic psychology because they brought in actual forensic psychologists to teach us about their job. The psychology of mental health also focused on the idea and definitions of mental health within different organisations and what that means for us as patients, clients, service-users... so interesting!

As for UEA on the whole, I love living here. The Psychology Society put on a events throughout the year but the campus is always bustling with students and there's so much to do. Yesterday I was in the library and a society had set up a little stand in our Student Union building to celebrate the Chinese New Year- there's always something going on. It's nice to just look out over the lake in the summer when you're stressing over assignments, or during late September during welcome week with the new friends you've made.
