Funding for second degree foundation year

Hi there,

I hold a degree already which Iv just finished (BSc Social and Therapeutic Interventions from South Devon University Centre). I would like to apply for a Dietetics degree with a foundation year. I understand Dietetics is a subject I can receive a second lot of full package funding for but would this include the foundation year ? I don’t have the A levels to go straight in on the 3 year degree course so my best chance is the foundation year course. Would I qualify for the course fees and maintenance loan for the whole 4 year dietetics course in this scenario?

Thanks

Hi Laura,

When does the course start? Can you confirm what university you will attend and the full name of the course? To confirm you are not already registered in this field?

Thanks, Drew

Hi Laura,

This is classed as an exception course. You can apply for the full funding which is the Tuition Fee Loan, Maintenance Loan and Supplementary Grants if applicable to you. You will be able to get the 4 years of funding plus one additional year of funding for a repeat year if needed.

Thanks, Drew
