First of all congratulations for aiming for 9s, I'm sure your hard work will pay off. One really helpful thing is immersing yourself in French, especially with the media that you use. Listen to films, videos and songs in French and try to understand what is being said and find some French songs you enjoy. If you are on a shorter time frame or are close to your exam, create flashcards with adequate amounts of information and memorise them through what works for you, do not use just 10 words but useful phrases you can apply to most topics and ask your friends or teacher to sit down with you and quiz you on them like a mini-mock. Learn common tenses and more complex ones and remember to take your time in the exam. Find exemplar grade 9s french speaking audios and find out what they did right. Hope this is helpful

some good tips above, but not all will help directly with your gcse french and getting a grade 9 (in my humble opinion). Have you seen the videos by The Ideal Teacher language school on YouTube? Put the following in to the search bar on YouTube - lots of suggestions for speaking, writing, listening etc to get a grade 9 - GCSE FRENCH EXAM PRACTICE & REVISION - Exams tips and ideas to improve confidence and get better grades

I did my French last year and got a grade 8. For listening and reading I did loads of past papers and self marked them, then went through the wrong answers and translated any words/phrases i didn’t know. For the writing, the examiners really like the subjunctive tense so I memorised a few phrases that I could use in most scenarios. They also love fancy words that no-one else will use, so I’d say learn a few good words/phrases and try to use them in your writing. For the speaking, it’s harder to revise, but there’s this really good app called memrise where you can do role-plays with an AI for free. I hope this helps 🙂 good luck!
