Scolarship essay
Hi there,
I need to write a scolarship essay to NTU, which can not be the same as my personal statement. However I'm finding it hard as I have no idea what should this include and what not.
Also if anyone has any info on international scolarships/discounts, that'd be highly appreciated

It's great to hear you're thinking about applying for one of our Scholarships at NTU!
Generally a scholarship statement should cover what achievements and experiences make you a good candidate, why you chose NTU and how your studies will benefit you, your employers and wider society in the future. The panel reviewing your application will want to hear about your academic, social, and extra-curricular experiences that demonstrate the impact you could have on the University.
I find it's helpful to break this down into three categories:
I'd also recommend reviewing the information about the specific Scholarship you are applying for. These can sometimes state the purpose of the Scholarship, so relating your application back to these goals can help structure your case of why you would be a great candidate.
