i hate going to an all girls school

i hate it. ive literally never talked to a boy in real life. infact im not even allowed to talk to them online (once i accidentally got caught talking to a boy online and got my social medias taken away and we were just friends)

i dont know how im gonna talk to them in uni, its so awkward and i feel weird.

and not only that, ill turn 18 soon and i havent even lived the teenage life i wanted.
i wanna go out, roam, have fun, go to concerts. im tired of being surrounded by books, and being on my computer all day

Jeez, I don't get why a parent would shelter their child so much. It can be harmful for growth and general life skills.

Wish I had advice for you, but I have no idea what to do in that situation

Hey I used to go wchs (all girls grammar school) and with my helicopter parents I had the exact same experience as u lmao. Switched schools to a co ed sixth form and thought things might improve but it’s worse than before bcs it’s one of those “competitive” Brampton manor esque schools. I’m just waiting for uni too tbh I realised along the way there’s nothing we can rlly do about it

Boys are not some form of life from outer space. You just go and talk to them just as you would talk to a girlfriend - about anything and everything. The fear factor works both ways, so just take any opportunity to chat and explore the world and your views on life. You will have many set opinions already formed mainly from your parents, your home life and your friends. The more you experience relationships, and work out which ones are the good, the bad and the awful, the more you start to understand what your own likes and dislikes are. Explore the world as much as you can. It is the most amazing and complex planet, with people and animals of all shapes, sizes and outlook. You will see the best and worst of life (& people) and wonder how any wilderness still exists as we exploit it - and then you get old and get lines on your face. Your face reflects your life. Be brave, you are as you are and you have a lot to learn in a very short space of time. Don't go with any pre-conceptions, just see, just listen, and explore life. Try everything and survive.

hey twin,, i went to an all girls school all my life from nursery until the end of sixth form, when i started uni and started to interact with guys i realised... they suck!! lol ! jkjk not all of them but its definitely not a big issue where you should be too stressed about it, just talk to them how you would to a girlfriend, most of the time theyre horrible listeners anyway
