Has UCL started sending out acceptance emails for 2025 applicants?

Waiting for my offers back currently, wondering if anyone has gotten anything back yet?

I got an offer on 14 January having submitted my application in mid September, so they did take their time.
One year, UCL didnt actually send out rejections - and just left those they didnt want drop off the edge by default.
This should give you an idea of how UCL regards applicants - and its students,

According to UCAS the universities have until 14 May to send out their decisions.

I think he means UCL allows some applications to automatically reject at the deadline. That would mean having zero respect for the student in my opinion (I am assuming this is what McGinger is getting at; I may be wrong.)

They don't actually have to send a decision. They can, in theory, just not respond and after the May 14th deadline, the UCAS system automatically decides that you have been rejected. ☹️
I got an offer for biochemical engineering on Wednesday - applied start of January. Was a surprise with the quick turnaround.

Did you have exceptional grades? I heard those with grades higher than expected average of applicants get in sooner becuase they dont need to compare you to other applicants.

I mean I don't think that would be the case. I had A*A*A* predicted and nine 9s and two 8s at GCSE. I applied this September last year and didn't get an offer until mid December. Its properly because the person applied just before UCL gave out their offers for that batch for that subject.

Edit.
Also they still do need to compare you to other candidates. They don't know what predicted grades other candidates that year will have so they need to wait until they have enough applicants. As well as this, there is a lot more that goes into an application then just grades (personal statement, references etc.)

Thanks im also really anxious abt the results cuz my home country's scholarship only awards those who receive offers by april and i submitted quite late.
