Going from a C to A is not easy, but also not unheard of. You need to have a strong study plans and also understand what is required for the different grades. To achieve an A in my opinion, it requires of solid foundation of understanding the basic concepts. You should be able to define every concept and fully understand what it means and how it can be applied. That should bring you up to around a B, low A. To progress from a B to an A, you need to understand what the questions in the papers are asking for. Exam technique is key, as is understanding what the question is asking for. If something is 10 marks, what are the ingredients for these ten marks. Do the foundational prep work then move onto exam questions or revise a couple of concepts and choose exam questions linked to those and practise them to cement the concepts/realise where the gaps are. Hope this helps!
