I am planning on going to uni this year and i dont know what course to pick physio or sports therapy i want to work in sport but im not sure what degree will be helpful?
For job opportunities, Physiotherapy. Because they have full HCPC registration and you will have more and better opportunities generally speaking in professional sports (namely related to insurance purposes).
On a side note, I have a friend who did sports therapy (BSc) first, and then physiotherapy (MSc) and he said sports therapy was the most enjoyable, funner degree overall; but physiotherapy opened doors that sports therapy did not - hes a Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) now (Band 8 level) on 50k+ a year in MSK practice and loves it.
