Does doing 4 a levels look better to uk Unis vs doing 3

My friend is in year 12 and she wants to apply to imperial college for medicine. She was wondering whether doing bio chem physics and math would be better compared to just bio chem math?
Does she love physics and think she can easily get a top grade while still having time to work or volunteer in a caring environment?

Hi I’m the friend here, personally I don’t mind physics in term of now (As Level) but my concern is that the workload may get too much in year 13 as I’m doing triple science and maths. I was just wondering whether having 4 subjects would give me a better chance of getting in, compared to doing 3 subjects of bio, chem, and maths or do they don’t really care about that?

experience of a care environment (ideally as an employee) would be far more beneficial than an extra A level
No, you won't score "bonus points" for doing a 4th A-level at almost all medical schools (including Imperial). I believe there were one or two that still did score an extra A-level although I can't recall which - @GANFYD may know if any do still?

No, now that most schools only allow applicants to study 3 A levels, that is all that is looked at for medicine shortlisting.
