University options - applying today - please help!

I'm applying for university at Bath Spa, Portsmouth, Essex, Bristol & Leeds, but I'm considering trading one of these for Plymouth. I'm happy with the course modules, but I'm worrying about whether Plymouth is a pleasant place to study & live? I was raised in Portishead and I love it, but I don't know if Plymouth compares.

Its a great place to live - bigger than most people think, with lots to do.
What subject are you applying for?

I'm nervous because Bath Spa's in such a beautiful place I think it may be competitive - I'll definitely apply though, and try to stay positive - thank you for your advice!

Its a great Uni and an interesting area to live and study.
I don't know anything specific about their teaching courses, but the Uni as a whole as a good reputation.
