Studying

Literally how do you study, I just got my predicted grades back and they’re really not what I hoped. I need an AAB or AAA but I’m currently at a CCB. I’m halfway through year 12 right now and I’m so desperate- i don’t really know how to revise. I tend to intake more when I’m listening but there are ZERO resources for my subjects, so if anyone could help that would me amazing. This is honestly my last resort

My subjects are:
English language- OCR- C
History- OCR- C (Cold War in Asia, Tudor rebellions, wars of the roses and my school does their coursework on Russia)
Government and politics- AQA- B (I’m okay with this one but would prefer an A)

Hi, I can only really help for history as I do English Lit and Music. I was at a C at the start of year 12 and pushed it to a A by the end of thresholds. Get a whiteboard they are so good (especially to help with english I use it for quotes and meanings of texts). Learning names and what they did is so key to get marks for context and knowledge. Watch documentary’s and read around your subject. Focus on things you are interested in first to give you motivation!
There are so many resources on Russia, look on JSTOR there are resources for everything (what time period are you doing for Russia also).
Also I find flashcards helpful for dates of people and events. Put in a bunch of info into CHATGPT and get it to generate flashcards for you to write out, also look on quizlet for similar content to yours it’s so helpful!
