advice for withdrawing My Deferred Place and reapplying

I achieved AAB (physics, cs, and maths, the b was in maths) in my A-levels and currently have a deferred place for mechanical engineering at Queen Mary University of London. However, I’m planning to resit my Maths A-level and reapply to universities.

I’m considering applying to Birmingham (typical offer aab), Loughborough(typical offer aab), Warwick(AAA), QMUL(AAB) and Nottingham(AAA).

Would it be a bad idea to withdraw my deferred place at QMUL and reapply after improving my maths grade, and do you think reapplying to qmul considering i was deffered and then am now reapplying for the same spot would be negativly viewed by them when considering my application.

im just worried that i withdraw and reapply and then not getting offers from any of the unis - leaving me worse off.

i wouldnt mind going to qmul but i think i would just prefer one of those other 4.

any advice would be good.
Ring QMUL first thing tomorrow and ask them.

Most Unis don't mind reapplicants - but just remember that is no guarantee of another offer.
