Reputation of Uni's?

Hello!

I applied to University of Westminster, Lancaster University, Richmond American University London, University of West London, and Regent's University London for BA International Relations, I have gotten into all 5 as an international student and was wondering which one has the best reputation for education.

Hi @Viviennek30,

Congratulations on getting into all five universities. In terms of reputation for education, especially in international relations, Lancaster is likely your best choice, while Westminster and Regent’s are good options for their London locations and international focus.

Hello @Viviennek30

Congratulations on getting all 5 offers from your chosen universities! I am a 4th year LLB Law (Study Abroad) student at Lancaster University so feel I can give an (unbiased) perspective on which of your options is the best in terms of reputation for education.

I would objectively say that Lancaster is probably the best choice overall. Lancaster is one of the best places to study in the UK, ranking consistently in the top 10 universities by the Complete University Guide, this considers things such as student satisfaction, teaching quality, quality of facilities, research output, accommodation, etc.

I think I understood that you are looking to study BA International Relations, our course offers the opportunity for study abroad placements if this is something that interests you. I did a study abroad as part of my course and I feel like it really enriched my experience here at Lancaster an allowed me to create a greater appreciation of the world around me.

We are a campus based university in the North West of England so are quite a while away from the bustling city of London that your other options offer, however we do have a very active campus with things going on throughout the year. Lancaster is located very closely to some other major UK cities including Liverpool, Manchester, York and even Edinburgh in Scotland.

If you have any more questions more specific to your course or about Lancaster generally, please feel free to ask and we will answer them!
