How much should I save for a 6 week medical school elective in malaysia?

I'm a 5th year med student, and at our uni, we have a 6-week elective block at the end of year 6.
I'm strongly considering going to Malaysia for my elective, but I was wondering how much money I need save up for this?
If anyone has recently done a similar elective in Malaysia or has any kind of insight into this sort of thing, I would be incredibly grateful for your advice!
