1) I cycle to work, so as well as the obvious benefits for exercise, this also replaces a morning run; so when I arrive, I'm firing on all 4 cylinders and I can focus on what I need to do

2) The physical action / effort of getting means I'm far more motivated to work than if I stayed at home
•
3) There are way too many distractions / temptations at home
•
4) On times when I have to work from home, sometimes I can work later than I should, and it's harder to switch off when I'm at home
•
5) When I get home, i know that it's now "my-time" and it's easier to forget about work than if i was working from home.
