The Student Room Group

Accommodation at LHU

Moving away from home is a big part of choosing which university is best for you. At this point most people will have made their UCAS applications, so now you're looking at what student accommodation is available to you. At Liverpool Hope we have on-campus accommodation that is guaranteed for all first year undergraduate students.

Our Hope Park campus is our main teaching campus. On this campus we have over 500 rooms including both en-suite and shared facilities for first year undergraduates, costing between £115 and £135 per week . Living on our Hope Park campus means that you can roll out of bed and get to your lessons in minutes, you are also not far from a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants and it's only a short bus ride into the city centre.

The Creative Campus is a campus dedicated to the Creative and Performing Arts. There are 188 en-suite rooms on this campus for undergraduates, with priority being given to those who are studying all or part of their course at the Creative Campus. The rooms cost £115 per week. This campus is a short walk from the City Centre meaning you get all the amenities of city living while being away from the busyness of the city centre.

Aigburth park is our residential campus based approximately 3 miles away from the city centre. There are over 400 rooms for undergraduate, postgraduate, PGCE and study abroad/exchange students, costing between £110 and £115 per week. The campus is round the corner from Sefton Park and Lark lane, as well as having many transport links into the city centre.

Even though we have a lot of accommodation available on campus, there is also a lot of private accommodation available in the city centre so you can choose what suits you best.

Hi there!

Yes, plenty of our students do this! Living in private accommodation in the city centre is a really good opportunity to mix more with students from UoL and LJMU but there are also plenty of students from Hope who live in the centre.

There are two bus routes that run from the city centre to Hope Park campus, the 86C and the 75. These buses come about every 15 minutes. We also have a free shuttle bus that runs directly between our three campuses throughout the day. You may find it easier to walk to the Creative Campus and get the free bus to Hope Park, as it is about a 15 minute walk from Lime Street Station to Creative.

I hope this helps!😀
