Moving away from your girlfriend?

Anyone who left their city to pursue better life, how did you cope with your girlfriend/boyfriend away? I'm so emotional leaving my girlfriend now hope she will join me later in life

my girlfriend and i are long distance (she lives in berlin), but we're still doing really well and we manage to see each other every month or two! communication is really important and making sure you both feel loved too. it is really hard but you just need to make the best of it until you can be together again permanently :,)
