Hello!
I found psychology super hard to revise for as there is so much content but blurting is a really good technique.
If you grab a whiteboard (mine was £2 from the works) and blurt all the information you know topic by topic it really sticks in your brain. Afterwards i go back with a different colour pen and add in the stuff i missed. Then just go over and repeat.
Exam questions are always good for structure, but i wouldn’t focus too much on recent past paper questions as they have come up recently so probably won’t come up for awhile.
Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi there,

I did my degree in psychology so I thought I'd share the methods I found helpful when revising for A Level:

Make posters of key studies/topics with all the relevant info on them in ordered sections with different colours, really helped me to test myself on the content.

Teach it to someone else - this can be a member of your family or a friend. Teaching your study/topic to someone else is a scientifically proven way to help information to consolidate and is a relatively fun way to revise because its different to writing.

I would say that practicing past paper questions is a good call because even if the topics won't necessarily be exactly the same, the style of answers will be and so its good to practice doing them to time.

Keep up with your content as you go along. Make sure you take time to go over your class material as you learn it: have clear, organised and full notes, makes sure you understand the concepts/research and don't leave your class with unanswered questions.

I really hope this helps - best of luck with it!
