I think he likes me

so I was in my geometry class and my crush kept looking at me in class. I share 2 period w/ him (geometry and world civ advanced). so my seat was in the corner kind of (we have groups of like 3-4, and multiple desk groups in the room) and he was assigned the group of desks like 10 feet away from me, and chose the open desk where he could look at me. his friend in that class sat like 5 feet away from me, and I caught my crush keep looking at me and glancing. and when I was looking at our math teacher present smth/talk Abt smth at the front of the class I caught him staring at me and when I looked back our eyes met and he looked away, so I looked at my screen for 2 secs and I looked at him and he had his pupils in the corner of his eye I think trying to look at me. then I heard his friend say to a girl (a tomboy girl, his mutual friend) "he's checking her out" meaning my crush was checking me out. when we were packing and had 3 minutes left of class, my crush and his friend got together and they talked to each other (idk what tho) and he looked at me. do you think he likes me? he is kind and smart qualities I find attractive. I don't want to make the first move though

oh yes girl the minute you catch him staring at you FIRST is always a good sign. making the first move isnt always a bad idea just be subtle, so they question if you have feelings except ur not obvious at all. if theyre questioning it then lowkey he prob likes you back. Good luck xx
