UoL Physio Interview

Hi everyone! I’ve got an interview for the BSc Physiotherapy program at Liverpool Uni coming up, and I was wondering if anyone here has been through it and could share their experience. I’ve heard the process involves both a group session and an 1-2-1 interview. I’ve never done a group interview before, so I’m not sure what to expect. 😬 Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey there!!

Nice to meet you, my name is Siobhan and i'm a third year physio student at University of Lancashire. It's so nice to hear that you're applying for the course and that you have an interview 🙂

Group interviews may be used by a Uni to see how you interact with others and what skills you demonstrate when put in a team. They may be looking for communication skills, teamwork, leadership and problem solving. This links well with the physio role as you will have to work within an multidisciplinary team and so these skills are key. Try not to stress out too much but make sure to prepare beforehand.

Having a group session as well can also make it more fair for people to show off their skills if they don't do well in1-2-1 scenarios and vice versa.

Remember to take a deep breath before answering any questions to settle the nerves 🙂 Hope it goes well and that this offers you some assurance.

Please let me know if you have any more questions. Good luck!
