Pregnancy and student finance
Hi im in level 6 health and socialcare full time student and in term two(two modules each term in three terms) i pass first term two terms are left but my condition is not good now because of nausea and vomitings in pregnancy and want break for uni and want to do in gift year so do I eligible of gift year? And what about student finance? I have got two term student finance, if I eligible gift year do i get full year finance or just for two terms which i want to leave? Please help!!

Can you confirm how long your course should be? What year of the course are you in? Do you have any other previous study?

It is three year health and socialcare course bsc.. and im in third year completed 4th and 5th level one in 6th. And no previous just these three levels..

Thank you. So just to confirm, you've not repeated a year previously? If not, then you don't need to provide any details. We fund all years of a course + 1 year (minus any previous study). If you just advise the university to send us over a 'change of circumstance' to confirm your suspension. So this will update your application. You'd then reapply for 25/26 when these go live in the spring. Thanks, Jason

So do i get full maintenance loan and child grant or the term which i failed? Because my two term left i passed one..

Your maintenance loan and grants aren't affected by your previous study (only the fees), but if you've never repeated a year or previously studied outwith this course your fees wouldn't be affected. Thanks, Jason
