Queries for University Application

I'm a student sitting for AS Level in June of this year. I currently take Maths, Economics, Physics, History. I am currently interested in doing either Economics or Law for Undergraduate, aiming for top universities in the UK and USA. With that in mind, may I ask:

I do not take Further Maths. How badly does it affect my chances for top universities in the UK and US (Ivy Leagues, Oxbridge, LSE, Warwick, etc.)? Because from what I've read, getting into LSE, Warwick, UCL, is quite tricky in my case. But I'm not so sure about Ivy League universities.

Thank you!

Y13 econ applicant here. Idk about US unis but I can tell you about what I found out whilst applying to UK unis.

Cambridge and LSE pretty much requires further maths, so avoid applying to those. Oxford doesn't list further maths in their 'recommended' or 'helpful' subjects for E&M or PPE so you should be ok there (I've assumed you're referring to E&M/PPE since Oxford doesn't offer straight econ). Warwick say on their website they don't require further maths (I got a Warwick econ offer without it) so you'll be fine there. UCL doesn't mention further maths at all so I'd assume you'd be ok to apply there as well (I also applied here but haven't heard back yet).

TLDR: You can apply to any uni for law since there are no specific subject requirements. For econ, you probably won't have a chance at LSE/Cambridge but you should be fine for other unis.
