applied for ual courses

hi guys i have a question!! i applied to three of the fashion courses at ual, 2 lcf courses and 1 csm course. but i’ve only received an email for 1 one of the lcf courses requesting an email. does this mean anything bad or could it be bc the courses are so popular that they haven’t looked at/recieved my application?? pls help!!

i haven’t gotten an email for portfolio for lcf either am getting slightly worried… but remember it’s not all automated so the person dealing with our applications might have not gotten to us yet

i got an email for portfolio for lcfs fashion design and development course but no emails or portfolio requests from lcf womenswear or csm womenswear ( hoping it is just that they haven’t gotten to our applications yet!!

i’m womenswear too and they’re probably all being dealt with by different people. it’s all so scary especially when you’re worriers like us! however i’ve never heard of them denying people before the portfolio stage. good luck to you as well xx

would be amazing ) the portfolio deadline is 11th feb btw if you haven’t finished it yet just so you know and aren’t rushing when you get the email (my friend got one and told me) x

tysm for letting me know!! i got the portfolio deadline email for fashion design and development (6th feb), i’ll make sure my portfolio is updated for the womenswear course too ^^

oh shoot i didn’t realise they were different deadlines! i’m not entirely sure then for womenswear as that might be for bespoke tailoring instead (my friends top course). hopefully most emails for the portfolio are going out this week, let me know when you receive yours

Womenswear is the last course I need to upload my portfolio and lowkey rlly scared my deadline is the 14th so still got a lil time good luck guys!!

oh thank you so much! how long after your submission did you receive an email for the portfolio? to be fair my application confirmation email took a few days too so it might just be a case that whoever’s dealing with our applications is taking a little longer than others.

Straight away I think I submitted my ucas beginning of janthen the next day I got sent an email for portfolio can I ask if you’ve done a foundation yr

yeah that’s very quick like a lot of others. if i don’t get a response before next week i think ill contact them. no foundation year but three a levels one being textiles wbu?

foundation isn’t required, but it will highly benefit you, since foundation courses give you more skill and experience which is something ual look for!!

nahh there’s hella international students there so you’ll be fine I mean I have gotten an offer for fashion marketing in Ual and the reason I might not require a interview might be cause of FAD
