Hi Lauren,
Some great universities you are applying for. Our English Literature course is 3rd in the UK (out of 94) for student satisfaction- (Complete University Guide (English) 2025). You may be able to study abroad as part of your course. You can choose spend a semester or full year abroad. We have exchange agreements with universities in many countries.
Seeing you have applied for Manchester, Preston is a smaller city however has lots to offer and is only about an hour train journey to Manchester. We have great transport links in Preston as well as something to do for everyone! 🙂
