Can't submit application until referee has responded?
Finalised everything today so that my UCAS application is submitted well before the deadline, but it just says 'waiting for reference, not allowing me to submit, and my referee hasn't responded to any emails for the last few days. What should I do?

If there's no way to contact your referee, are you able to find another one that could provide you with a reference fast enough?

Unfortunately not, unless I get in touch with my former employer

Ring or visit your referee in person this morning.
