Some people who applied to MPhil in Politics and IR got offers in the beginning of this week (Feb 3). As of this week, Dev Studies PhD applicants have been left in the dark (even after interviews) while Politics and IR PhD applicants have received offers recently. I hope the Centre of Dev Studies isn't too overwhelmed and processes applications soon.

Has anyone emailed for an update yet? Officially hit the 12 week mark since I applied and unsure whether or not I'll actually get an answer about a timeline

I think you should probably email the centre of dev studies to ask about it. I understand how frustrating it is. We've all been left in the dark. By this time last year people already had status update.

I did end up emailing and they pretty much said that people who applied by the funding deadline should hear back by the end of Feb (12 weeks since Dec 5th)

Someone said the status changed to dp, he submitted his application at the end of October. The response may have already begun.
