Work experience on UCAS

I've done work experience in a pharmacy and am applying to study pharmacy should i add it to UCAS extra activity section? It was unpaid work experience.

Hi, yes definitely add this to your UCAS application, you can add it in this section but also make sure you include your experience in your personal statement. - JD

Hi,
that work experience sounds very useful to add to your application as it will help you stand out from other candidates. As other people on this forum have said, put the work experience down in both the extra activity section as this will make it clear to the admissions team but also make sure to give more detail on it in your written personal statement.
Hope this helps,

You're trying to add it to the wrong section. "Extra Activities" is for recording that you took part in university outreach programmes.

There's a separate section specifically for work experience.

Hi both, just to note the above. Work experience, not extra activities.
