The Medic Mentor ones are alright I've heard, but you do have to pay for their package to gain access, I don't know exactly how much it i. You can get the opportunity to publish in their magazine weekly so a good opportunity if you are looking for writing based accomplishments.
Best of luck.

If you are 14-16 and attend a non-selective state school then I would recommend the Young Science Writer of the Year Award. The winning essay gets published by the BBC. I entered last year and won, and it was an amazing opportunity.

Sorry for the late response!

My essay was on insulin pumps and their use in type 1 diabetes management. You can read my essay here: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c75nq69yy22o

You can write about anything to do with healthcare & life science, climate & environment, AI & technology, engineering the future, and maths & physical sciences.
