Offer rates for UCL maths and statistical science

Online, it says the offer rate for UCL maths and statistical science lies at around 25 - 30%.

However, on the UCAS hub website, it says the historical offer rate for UK school leavers (the ’beta’ section) for UCL maths and statistical science was 3 in 5 (so 60%).

This is based on data from 2019-2023, and also uses data from this course and 13 other mathematical courses. So that could explain some of the difference. But I’d still expect it to be less that 25-30%, since this is just UK leavers. I know the maths department has a very high number of international students, e.g from China.

Could someone please explain this to me and estimate for me what you think the offer rate for UK school leavers in 2025 might be roughly?

Thank you very much

Only UCL (and UCAS internally) would know

“Online” where does it say 25-30%
Will it change your decision about where to apply?

The link to one of the sources where it says 25-30% isn’t working. But if you google admission report UCL maths and statistical science offer rate, it’ll say 28% offer rate for 2024/25. On ucl.ac.uk undergraduate entry 2024/25 offer rates, you’ll see a table with the different subjects, and maths says 29% (I assume maths and statistical science is similar)

And it won’t change my decision, I’ve already applied, just want to know my chances! Thanks for your help
