Is it possible to arrange a tour of the university outside of the formal times?
I have a student who is keen to apply. Unfortunately they are only able to visit on a certain day (Thursday 20th Feb) with his mum and brother. I am looking for someone who might be able to give them an hours tour? We'd be happy to remunerate for your time. Can anyone help?

Hi there, which university are you looking to do a tour for? Contacting them directly should make it possible for a tour outside of one of their open days.

Most unis will offer tours. Just go on the uni website and search in the 'visit us/open day' sections. You won't need to pay. You can also just go to a uni campus and wander around.

Suggest you contact the Admissions team at the relevant Uni.
Every Uni has a different attitude to this sort of ad-hoc tour, and it can be of limited use because there will not be any subject-specific focus. If they just want to 'see what the place looks like' then there are plenty of good campus tour and open day films on YouTube, and often also on Uni websites.

Hi there,
Which university is it that you are after exploring?
Most universities like us do campus tours aside from our open days and evenings. This gives people the flexibility to books on when they are free. Here's a link to our campus tours page Campus tours - UCLan. As mentioned by someone else, messaging the university on their socials or emailing them to find more information on campus tours. There may also be videos or reels created by the uni to show the campus from an online perspective.
