Pre-registration MSc funding
Hi,
I’m applying to study the pre-registration MSc Diagnostic Radiography at Liverpool Uni and I’m not sure which loan would be available for this course. The uni website says you can apply for the postgraduate loan, approx £12k per year, but other websites say that pre-reg MSc healthcare courses are treated like undergraduate degrees so can access the tuition fee and maintenance loans, which would make a big difference in how much money I’d have to live off. Does anyone know which would be the right loan for this course? Thanks!

Hi Stephen, it’s a full time course over 2 years (27 months), starting January 2026

Thanks. This would be an Undergraduate application you'd apply on as these courses attract the full funding. The applications will go live in the spring for you to apply on. Thanks, Jason
